Service Description

Prerequisite: Participants must know how to operate a sewing machine. Experience Level: Intermediate to Advanced What to Bring: A clean garment you’d like to alter from the options below. Ready to take your sewing to the next level? In this workshop, you’ll tackle more complex customization and alteration techniques with guidance from our instructors. Choose one of the following projects: -Make a garment bigger or longer using creative fabric additions -Change the silhouette for a new look and better drape -Adjust darts or seams to make a piece more form-fitted We’ll cover advanced measuring, fitting, and sewing techniques to help you confidently transform your clothing. Bring a garment you want to customize, and we’ll help you plan and execute your vision using Makerspace YK’s sewing equipment.
