Makerspace YK is a registered non-profit in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. We build community with hands-on learning opportunities, access to shared space/tools, and skills-building programs.

Change in Drop-In Prices

Starting September 1st, we’ll be updating our drop-in pricing to better reflect the value of our space and equipment access.

The new rates will be:

Daily Drop-In: $25 (except 3D printing file starts, which remain at current rates)
5-Visit Drop-In Pass: $100
10-Visit Drop-In Pass: $150

These changes will help us continue offering a well-equipped, community-focused makerspace. Thanks for your understanding and support!

Membership rates will stay the same.

Makerspace YK is excited to offer a free STTEM (Science, Technology, Trades, Engineering, and Mathematics/Mechanics) camp this summer for high school-aged girls and gender-queer youth.

Making goes digital! Join us to get tech-savvy at Hackspace. Learn skills like coding and electronics to use in your own projects, collaborations and more.

Artspace

Get creative with the community. Artspace hosts events and workshops by other artists, makers, and community organizations. Join a workshop or even host one yourself!
