Making Space
Artist-in-Residence Program
Cohort 1: Apply by Feb. 15, 2026
Cohort 2: Applications to open summer 2026
The Making Space Artist-in-Residence (AiR) Program is dedicated to showcasing the work and developing the skills of female, non-binary, gender queer and transgender artists, and between now and spring of 2027 the program will host 9 artists.
From March - July 2026 MSYK will be running the first cohort of this program and are currently inviting artists based in the Yellowknife area to submit applications for a residency of one month each.
We encourage applications from artists from varying disciplines or practices who are seeking space to produce work, share their knowledge, and develop their skills.
