Making Space: Stamping Storied Places

Service Description

Learn how to use printmaking to make original stamps from your photographs with our artist-in-residence, Alana Norie! In this two-hour session, participants will be guided through drawing, carving, and printing while exchanging tales of the places that hold a special place to us in a low pressure environment. At the end of the workshop participants will walk home with a set of unique prints of their Storied Place on both fabric and paper. This beginner-friendly printing workshop is open to participants ages 12 and up. Please bring a photograph (printed or digital) of a place that is meaningful to you. All printing supplies will be provided - some scrap fabric will be available, but if you have clothing, fabric bags, or patches that you’d like to print on, please bring them!
